Weekly 4e Homebrew: Monolith Drone

Every Sunday, I'll have a completely homebrewed Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition element that you can use in your games. I do take requests so you can either post a comment here, email me at thatrobedguy@hotmail.com with the subject "Homebrew Request", or send me a tweet on Twitter (@brannonhutchins) with the hashtag #weekly4e.

THEY'VE BREACHED THE OUTER DEFENSES! THE ANIMATED HORDES ARE FLOODING IN!  My gods...THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THEM! FLEE! ABANDON ALL HOPE! ABANDON ALL HO-URK!

Monolith Drone
The drones swarm in mass numbers, killing all in their wake.

The monolith drone is the foot soldier of the Animated Armies. They arrive at the feet of their larger brothers in overwhelming numbers. They arrive in great numbers, swarming over enemy troops.

Each drone resembles a robotic arachnid, with eight to ten legs and a opisthosoma section containing the arcanic energy used to temporarily lower the weight of the drone. The drone's lowered weight is taken advantage of when it uses its Pounce power.

Designer Notes: The opisthosoma is the abdomen section, or butt, of the spider...in case you didn't know.

The Monolith Drone was created using Power2ool for Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition by Wizards of the Coast.
